Rs 150 Crore in FY13: HUDCO's highest ever dividend to GoI

FY 2012-13 declared a total dividend of Rs 150 crore which is the highest ever payment of dividend by it to the Government of India. Those who were present on the occasion included HUPA secretary and 1976 batch IAS AK Misra, HUDCO's director, corporate planning NL Manjoka and HUDCO's director finance AK Kaushik among others.
Our of Rs 150 crore dividend, Rs 103.78 is payable to ministry of housing and urban poverty alleviation, Rs 15.12 crore to ministry of urban development and Rs 31. 10 crore to the ministry of rural development.
Minister Dr Vyas complimented the HUDCO officers for a number of achievements that it made during 2012-13. She stated that HUDCO registered net profit (after tax) of Rs 700 crore during the above period and it sanctioned project work of Rs 23, 974 crore. Against the target of sanctioning of 3.66 lakhs units, HUDCO sanctioned 4.39 lakh units.
