INDIA's youngest Maharatna PSU Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL)
has invited applications for recruitment for the Group C non-executive posts of
79 Foreman and two Junior Superintendents. Selected candidates may be posted at

end on September 10, 2014. GAIL is India’s flagship natural gas company is
integrating all aspects of the natural gas value chain and its related
services. In a rapidly changing scenario, GAIL is spearheading the move to a
new era of clean fuel industrialisation by creating a quadrilateral of green
energy corridors that connects major energy consumption centres in India with
major gas fields. GAIL is also expanding its business overseas to become a formidable
force in the global market. Keeping these in view the PSU gas major is hiring a
number of posts listed below.
Foreman (Mechanical): 28 posts
Salary: Pay Scale Grade S - 5 Rs 14,500 - 36,000
Eligibility: Candidates should have a Diploma in Mechanical
Engineering
Foreman (Electrical): 28 posts
Salary: Pay Scale Grade S - 5 Rs 14,500 - 36,000
Eligibility: Candidates should have a Diploma in Electrical
Engineering and minimum two years of post-qualification experience.
Foreman (Instrumentation): 13 posts
Salary: Pay Scale Grade S - 5 Rs 14,500 - 36,000
Eligibility: Candidate should have a Diploma in
Instrumentation Engineering and minimum two years of post-qualification
experience.
Foreman (Telecom and Telemetry): 10 posts
Salary: Pay Scale Grade S - 5 Rs 14,500 - 36,000
Eligibility: Candidates should have a Diploma in Telecom
and/or Telemetry Engineering and minimum two years of post-qualification
experience.
Junior Superintendent (HR): 2 posts
Salary: Pay Scale Grade S - 5 Rs 14,500 - 36,000
Selection: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis
of performance in a written test/interview.

online. After completing the online application form, a unique registration
number will be generated. Send a printout of the application form affixed with
latest passport size photograph, demand draft in amount of application fees,
and attested copies of relevant certificates/documents to: Senior Manager

the post applied for.
Application Fee
Application fees for General/OBC candidates is Rs 50 while
SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fees. The
application fee is to be submitted in the form of a demand draft drawn in
favour of GAIL (India) Limited payable at New Delhi.
