SAIL, a Maharatna PSU, is the world's leading and India's largest steel producer with an annual turnover of around Rs.49,350 crore.

It operates and owns five integrated steel plants at Rourkela, Bhilai, Durgapur, Bokaro and Burnpur and three special steel plants at Salem, Durgapur and Bhadravati.

As part of its global ambition the PSU is implementing a massive expansion plan involving project work of building/adding new facilities with emphasis on state of the art green technology.

Candidates applying for the above mentioned recruitment should be in the age group as mentioned below:

For Sl no I & II posts- 18 to 28 years as on 01-10-2014.

For Sl no III posts-18 to 30 years as on 01-10-2014.

Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.

Educational qualification

Candidates should have the qualification as below:

For Sl no I posts- Matriculation with 3 years full time Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline.

For Sl no II posts- Matriculation with ITI (Full time) in the relevant trade.

For Sl no III posts- Matriculation with 3 years full time Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/Power Plant/ Production/ Instrumentation Engineering.

Selection process
