Hope for ailing PSUs: GAIL begins revival of Talcher Fertilizers

THROWING some ray of light for ailing PSUs, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 22 commenced work for the Talcher ferlitiliser plant at Angul in Odisha, the first such plant in eastern India. PSU revival: Four PSUs to form JV for Talcher urea plant

STATE-owned Coal India Limited, gas utility GAIL and fertiliser majors RCF and FCIL will form a joint venture for revival of Talcher urea plant in Odisha, Parliament was informed.

Rekindling hope for closed PSUs, government will revive Talcher Fertiliser Project

IN A move that is likely to rekindle hopes for a number of closed PSUs, the minister for chemicals & fertilizers Ananth Kumar said that government proposes to from two joint ventures for the revival of closed fertilizers plants at Talcher in Odisha and at Ramagundam in Telangana.
