MAHARATNA PSU Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has invited
applications for the posts of Attendant cum Technician (Trainee), Operator cum
Technician (Trainee) and Operator cum Technician (Boiler Operation). The
eligible candidates can apply online to the post through the prescribed format
on or before September 9, 2015.

present, the Government of India has 86 percent ownership of SAIL. The company
owns and operates nine manufacturing plants, including two subsidiaries. SAIL
is in the final stages of completion of its Rs 72,000-crore modernisation and
expansion programme that would enhance its hot metal capacity to 23.5 mtpa. The
company has also readied a blueprint to take its capacity to 50 mtpa by 2025
with an investment of Rs 1.5 lakh crore.

Eligibility Criteria for Trainee and Boiler Operation Job:
Educational Qualification:
Attendant cum Technician (Trainee) - Matriculation with
ITI/NCVT from Government recognized institute in specified trades.
Operator cum Technician (Trainee) - Matriculation and three
years full time Diploma in Engineering with minimum 50% marks from a Government
recognized institute in specified trades.
Operator cum Technician (Boiler Operation) - The SC/ST/PwD
and Departmental andidates having Diploma in Engineering in the required
discipline with minimum 40% marks shall be eligible to pay.
Selection Procedure:
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the interview/exam conducted by the organization.
