PowerGrid to recruit Executive Trainees through GATE 2017

POWERGRID India Limited online invited applications from “Bright, Committed and Energetic Graduate Engineers” for recruitment to posts of Executive Trainee in the disciplines of Electrical, Electronics, Civil and Computer Science through GATE 2017. The candidates’ eligible for the post can apply for GATE 2017 on or before October 4 and apply for the POWERGRID India Limited Executive Trainee posts online through prescribed format from February 15, to March 15, 2016.
The Navratna PSU, the central transmission utility (CTU) of the country under ministry of power figures among the largest power transmission utilities in the world. PGCIL is playing a vital role in the growth of Indian power sector by developing a robust integrated national grid and associating in the flagship programme of the government to provide power for all. The PSU owns and operates about 113,688 ckt kms of transmission lines and has 189 sub-stations.

Eligibility Criteria
Executive Trainee (Electrical): Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/Power Engineering (Electrical) Technology/Petrochemical Technology with minimum 65 %Marks.
Executive Trainee (Electronics): Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Electronics / Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Electrical Communication / Telecommunication Engg with minimum 65 % Marks.
Executive Trainee (Civil): Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Civil with minimum 65 %Marks.
Executive Trainee (Computer Science): Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engg. /Information Technology with minimum 65 % Marks.
Selection Procedure for Executive Trainee, GATE 2017 Jobs:
Candidates will be selected for POWERGRID Executive Trainee Jobs on the basis of GATE 2017 score.
